Christmas/New Year's manis

Kicking off 2016 Dr. Frank. N. Further style ;-)

These polishes were given to me a couple of Christmases ago. I'm not a huge glitz/sparkle person if I'm honest, but I do like to experiment with different finishes every now and then.

The pics aren't amazing, but hopefully you can see that both are lightly tinted top coats with single toned glitter (scarlet/chrome).

Had a shopping trip to meadowhall the other day. I find that ordering from the Selfridges site isn't quite as satisfying as the in store experience, so I went to the Illamasqua counter in Debenhams instead. A very nice young man packaged these up nicely for me:

Came across a load of cute geeky mani snaps when I was browsing Geekologie this afternoon and these were my favourite (think it's the colours that did it.) 

I have the tools at my disposal to attempt something like this but... effort.

Anyone that has been for a mani in the last ten years knows that polish isn't the be all and end all. Longer lasting alternatives are available and no, they don't do any damage to your natural nail.
