Hydrogel patches

So had a go with these hydrogel patches the other day, and to tell you the truth, all I got out of them was one hilarious picture. (Note: this initially meant to be an homage to the Korean bio cellulose tech inspired photos included in Lisa Eldridge's conceptual makeup story for Chinese Vogue. Did not work out).

The etude house forehead patch isn't actually gel, it's made from the same abrasive cotton material you find on the one side of cheap nose blackhead strips. It's supposed to unclog pores and help smooth out lines; I didn't notice a huge difference, perhaps because it's not a problem area for me. The Tony Moly moustache smile lines, lip, and cheek patches just slid right off my face, so how one's supposed to go about their business instead of lying on their backs for forty mins, one does not know.

I'm also wearing one of my new favourite products - Koelf - royal jelly hyrdrogel eye patches, which is an entirely different league altogether, thus deserves a review in its own right, which will be included in my new skincare update post.
