Brushes and Combs

Left to right:

Michel Mercier professional detangling brush for thick hair
Tangle Angel classic black
Macadamia oil paddle brush and comb set
Head Jog 10 backcombing brush
Shu Uemura Art of Hair large round brush
Bumble and bumble flat classic brush
Coriloiss paddle mic brush

I have a harder time than most styling my knotty mane; my hair is so thick I'm forced to use an insane amount of product and tools to get it to behave. I don't use all of these brushes on a daily basis e.g. the macadamia oil brush and comb are used just before I plait my hair for bed, my head jog I use to a volume correct if I've straightened my hair a little too flat, the Michel Mercier just out of the shower to even out the coconut oil etc etc. I pretty much only own the Coriloiss for the design, and the detachable separating  pin in the handle which I find quite clever.

My absolute favourite brush is my beautiful tangle angel in black:

So gorgeous, heat resistant anti bacterial and anti static bristles that flex unbelievably well whilst detangling my hair making it all smooth and nice. A little touch of darkness too of course, with the black angel wings, goes amazingly well with everything else on my dressing table ;)

Shu Uemura Art of Hair:

Very styler friendly with boar bristles and soft kotibe wood. I use on the rare occasions I decide to blow dry my hair.

Bumble and bumble:

I use as a finishing polisher to turn the insane curls into softer shiny waves. Probably the most I've ever paid for a hair brush...

My Shu Uemura geisha comb - lovely design, nice and handy. Michael Van Clarke - 3 more inches to promote longer and more manageable hair. My go to comb to keep on top of my tangles throughout the day.
