Just a Ghoul: Smokey Eyes

You'll see that I'm not much of fan of the grey smokeys; my eyes are nearly the same colour as the eyeshadow, which make them look incredibly dull but I've had this kit for a while, and needs must when the devil drives.

Bellapierre Smokey Eyes: Get the look Kit

Make Up Base - Texture was a little cakier than expected, which made application slightly bumpy. Had to apply with my fingers in the end, which I try to avoid doing with anything if I can help it. I find this method warms it up so it blends into the lid easier. Overall a very good base, seems to work just as well underneath cream eyeshadows as powders.

Shimmer powder 1 - Snowflake: Great for blending into the corners of the eyes or even sweeping over your finished look for a slightly softer or 'veiled' look.

Shimmer Powder 2 - Noir: The darker powder that I like to build up in the crease to outline the eye and to add more 'drama' to the look.

Shimmer Powder 3 - Tin Man: Keep patting this across the lid and sweeping it up to the socket line. The more the better. You'll find that this is often my philosophy for all maquillage ventures.

Oval Eye Shadow Brush (100% pony hair)
Very soft, better for blending/buffing as oppose to direct application.

Liner Brush (100% synthetic) not as precise as I'd like for directional application, but dense enough to be fit for purpose.

So after my No7 Foundation Match made service, I purchased the Instant Radiance foundation in 'Calico' some more of my favourite wild volume toffee apple lipstick (now disc. fml) and some liquid liner, I was eligible for a free gift bundle: Exceptional definition Mascara - 'black,' Stay Perfect Eyeshadow - 'Black Gold,' Stay Perfect Metallic Eyes Pencil - 'Blackest,' Stay Perfect Lipstick - 'Classic Rose.'

Bourjois - Smoky Eyes Trio: Gris Dandy

Something I've accumulated over the years. Pretty much a compact version of the Bellapierre loose powders with a slightly more blueish tinge. Pigment is slightly less prominent, so it's far better for a more understated smoky look. Used with No7 'black gold.'
