To be honest with you I think I began too far down the nail with this one. Just glad I managed to get it quite neat since I was doing it free hand!
It's not that difficult to get this look. I put on my base coat and painted all the nails with a single coat of Ciate cookies and cream. Once that was dry, I used one of my smaller files as an indicator for where to finish the moon, and painted a couple of coats of Becca - Pasa Doble onto the rest of the nail. Finished with a clear top coat. I do like to do something interesting on my nails at least once a month, gets a bit monotonous just slicking on the same old paint week in week out. Like to keep it fresh :)
