Red Carpet Muses Pt.1

I haven't always been a fashion aficionado. I was sixteen when I first began ditching the New Rocks in favour of more haute booties, and that's partly due to moving back to Birmingham and discovering that we now had a Selfridges. I was one delighted girlie. So much time and cash was spent in that place. I continued to keep ahead of the curve during uni and was always the best dressed on nights out. Being the envy of all the women I hung out with and subsequent backstabbing did take its toll eventually, but what do they expect if they wear the same tat week in week out? *mrow*

My wardrobe is pretty much all dark, edgy and expensive couture.
I will always incorporate a soupçon of 'gothic' into all of my outfits because ultimately that's who I am. I do however, keep my look as sophisticated as possible, which is more than I can say for anyone in the alternative scene I know.

Anyway I thought I'd share with you some of my red carpet idols:

Angelina

Though she's one of these 'political because it's fashionable' types, she never fails to look amazing at awards. Plus she kicks ass as Lara Croft.

As you can plainly see, she's well into her Versace. Although she admits to having an apathetic attitude when it comes to fashion, I have yet to see her turn up to an award in anything garish or inappropriate. She would actually be quite beautiful if she drained the Bratz lips a little and had her nails done at least once a while!
