Most normal people don't have perfect lashes. If you're anything like me, then sans any product they're thin, brown and jut out at people like planks of wood. Enter our first recourse, curlers:
My first is the Japonesque mini curler:
Much easier to use and a little less gynaecological looking as most metal curlers.
My standard Shu Uemura ones are my 'on the go' curlers. Good for emergency touch ups.
Silly metal apparatus are good, in a hurry. But for serious curlage you will require something with a little more heat.
I have here a bog standard culer that I filled the wanting gap with after my mister mascara one perished. Hardly ever use this since it's more of a back up than anything else. Uses 2x triple As.
This is the one I used for years:
I really miss it but it's been discontinued unfortunately :(
Japonesque heated wand curler
No need for a refill
Easier to clean
Only needs one AAA battery
Combs and separates whilst curling
No chance of eyelid ouchies!
This one is by far and away my favourite. I use it just after primer/mascara application for a good lift (that stays put).
