The first sample I wanted to review is The Hayan GT essence:
This is a sample I used while I was on the maternity ward, and I was really impressed. I used this just after my toner and my skin already felt hydrated and incredibly supple. I found that my moisturiser absorbed faster too which was a great comfort (I hate going to bed with a tacky face). I actually preferred this after one use to the SK2 and Missha samples I had used for a week each.
2) Tosowoong monster oil foam:
This is a new cleansing experience for me, an oil and a foam all in one? I suppose the idea is that you can give your skin more of a massage with the oil before it foams, however I always rub a foam cleanser inbetween my hands before I apply it to avoid rubbing my face as much as possible (it's important to be gentle with the skin) so seems a little redundant. I do like that the oil and the foam gives the cleanse a moisture balance, i.e. not too drying, not too oily, and it was surprisingly gentle for a foaming cleanser. That said, it left my skin feeling incredibly clean and fresh.
3) Tony Moly I'm Real Avocado rich cream:
This is by far the richest cream moisturiser from Korea I have tried so far, I've used a couple of samples and I absolutely love it. I'd apply layered over a night repair or a sleeping pack, and perhaps as a daytime during the winter.
4) Tony Moly panda's dream white magic cream:
I applied this underneath my eyes to see if it would be as effective as a shadow correcting cream, and voila I was right. It even absorbs better than my eye cream! I would also use over freckles/dark spots, any aging pigmentation, however I'm not overly keen on the packaging. I don't buy skincare or makeup for the 'kawaii' factor. I'm cute enough already ;P
5) Tony Moly regencia homme multi fluid:
My husband isn't one for skincare since he thinks that applying lotions and potions would somehow undermine his virility, but I managed to (after a clandestine fashion) pat this into his skin before bed. His skin was noticeably softer and smoother in the morning, but my unwilling guinea pig continues to need more convincing to get him to buy it. Men.
