Unlike many beauty bloggers, I'm not one for employing the use of such abbreviations as 'NOTD' but for the sake of my readers I have entitled these posts 'NP of the Week.' That's as far as I'm willing to go I'm afraid, plus it makes far more sense than Nail of the day. Well my nail of the day today was my right index, as it proved it's resourcefulness quite successfully as a letter opener. Such silliness! R.O. In case you missed that, that's an abbreviation for 'Rant Over.' I do apologise, my cage is gets rattled all too easily. Anyway:
Laqa & Co - Those Meddling Kids
I've owned polish pens in the past, but this is the first I've had with a pump at the end. Doesn't take all that getting used to, especially when I've got such a handy instruction leaflet that is so hip and appeals so much to my age group:
It reminds me of being in university (feels like such a long time ago now, but lets not count the rings around this trunk) and how cringe worthy it was to listen to vastly renowned and learned professors try to appeal to the audience via the use of colloquialism and swearing. All the other students laughed their little socks off while I just sat there ashamed and insulted. It's nearly as bad as the flaming aussie packaging for Gawd's sake!
The polish itself is a nice glossy black that goes on pretty smoothly. I'm wearing two coats (the second being slightly thicker than the first) and no top coat. Despite terrible marketing, I will definitely be picking more of these up. I enjoy practicality in all forms, plus the packaging is quite pretty which is always a bonus.
