This was the first time I did gel extensions myself (one handed, what a pro :P). It is so simple really, you can buy extension kits in any major pharmacy.
All you need to do is prep the nail as you would with any manicure, however it is especially important to fully dehydrate the nail so the glue can bond properly. Here I've got ten different sizes with at least four in each compartment.
Don't worry if none match up exactly, your best bet would be to go for the next size up and file down the sides. Add a few drops of glue to the underside of the extension (not too much otherwise the tip can slide all over the place) and press the extension very gently half way down onto the nail. once they're all on, file/buff over the line where the extension begins until you can no longer tell the difference between the tip and your actual nail (you may want to dab a cotton bud doused in acetone over the line to melt it slightly). Clip them down to size and file until you get the desired shape. You can then choose to add an overlay of your choice, or leave them bare depending on how good of a job you've done with the buffing!
