I am a huge fan of the TV series Dexter and I've wanted to have a bash at the famous ITK nails for a while now. 'Bit morbid' you might say, but the colours certainly aren't!
Note - there's a big difference between the nails of ITK's various projects, and Dexter's mom's nails from the flash back scene. I'm focusing solely on the former, since the colours are more neon and the general shape of the nails more agreeable (not one for square tips myself.)
As for the polish, I've found that a lot of people are using an American brand called Pure Ice to achieve this particular look. Rather than wait weeks for all five colours to turn up, I decided to wing it and go with Stargazer.
I wasn't expecting much from a couple of (£)s a bottle, but application turned out to be surprisingly smooth. Slicked on a couple of coats over a base and finished with a clear top coat.
Not colours I would normally wear personally, but - a possible look for spring/summer?
